Karim is an accomplished visual effects supervisor with over 30 years of experience in the film industry. Karim was part of the Academy Award-winning team for visual effects for The Lord of the Rings trilogy, King Kong and Avatar. His extensive filmography also includes Dune: Part Two, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, The Avengers: Age of Ultron and more than 50 other feature films and television series.

Karim is committed to nurturing new talent in the creative industries, actively collaborating with educational institutions around the globe as mentor. He also serves as a speaker at various international film and visual effects festivals, where he shares his insights and experience in film. His engaging presentations and in-depth knowledge of the industry offer invaluable learning opportunities for both aspiring artists and seasoned professionals.

Maria is a seasoned filme and television FX supervisor renowned for her specialization in computer simulation and technical training development.

Her portfolio of visual effects work includes high-profile films such as Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, Dune: Part Two, and Shazam! Fury of the Gods. Additionally, her expertise extends to various television series featured on Netflix, Amazon, National Geographic, and Epix.

Beyond her work in film, Maria is a committed visual effects educator. She actively conducts masterclasses and courses, sharing her vast knowledge in collaboration with VFX Mojo's partners in Asia and Europe. Her educational initiatives elevate the skills of artists, empowers and inspires the next generation of visual effects professionals to excel in their craft and grow in the industry.
